About Heidi
Raised in rural Nebraska,
Heidi H. Speece received her Masters degree from the University of Pittsburgh and is currently a high school English teacher. When not playing fetch with Ernie, she enjoys traveling and photography. She lives in Virginia with Ernie Bert and her two cats, Lottie and Louis.
My Journey with Ernie is Heidi’s debut book, and a majority of the proceeds will be donated to animal rescues and efforts to overturn the CDC ban on the importation of dogs to America.
